Overview

This 8-day Socotra tour is a complete island journey designed for travelers who want to experience the best of Socotra’s landscapes, coastline, marine life, and iconic natural landmarks in one route. The trip begins with arrival in Hadibu and continues to Arher, where dramatic dunes meet the sea. Over the following days, the program includes hiking to Hoq Cave, swimming in Homhil and Kalysan, snorkeling in Dihamri Marine Protected Area, exploring the Dragon Blood Tree region around Diksam and Firmhin, visiting Detwah Lagoon and Qalansiya, and enjoying a boat trip to Shoab Beach with dolphin spotting opportunities. The tour is built as a fixed adventure route with camping, guided activities, local transport, and daily movement across the island, ending with breakfast and departure on the final day.

Upon arrival on the island, you will be welcomed at Socotra Airport and transferred to Hadibu for lunch. Afterward, we drive to Arher, one of the most scenic areas on the island where towering sand dunes meet the sea. Enjoy free time to explore the beach and dunes. Dinner and overnight camping in Arher.

After breakfast, we hike to Hoq Cave, the largest cave on Socotra. The hike offers stunning views and leads to impressive rock formations inside the cave. After exploring, we return to camp for dinner and overnight stay.

We visit Homhil Protected Area, known for its unique flora and natural infinity pool overlooking the sea. After lunch, we continue to Dihamri Marine Protected Area for snorkeling among vibrant coral reefs and marine life. Overnight camping at Delisha Beach.

The day begins with a visit to Kalysan, a beautiful freshwater wadi perfect for swimming. After a light picnic, we continue to the impressive Zahek sand dunes in the Noged region. Dinner and overnight camping in the dunes.

We explore Dagub Cave before heading to the Diksam Plateau, home to the iconic Dragon Blood Trees. We visit Firmhin Forest, one of the most famous areas on the island. Overnight camping in the highlands.

We travel to Qalansiya and continue to Detwah Lagoon, known for its turquoise waters and stunning landscapes. We also visit the famous “Cave Man.” Dinner and overnight camping at Detwah.

Enjoy a boat trip along the coast where dolphins are often spotted. We visit the remote Shoab Beach for swimming and relaxation. Return to Detwah for sunset and final night camping.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for departure, concluding your Socotra adventure.
